Financing and Implementing the GKRA

For example, for FY 2020-21, ONGC has allocated Rs 1,500 crores towards GKRA.
State Governments
Meanwhile state governments have engaged in various measures such as waiving off or reducing fines on loans given under MUDRA schemes; ensuring availability of funds for completion of incomplete works related to GKRA; allowing flexibilty in utilization of state government funds allocated towards GKRA by permitting funds allocated to one scheme to be used in any other scheme under GKRA; waiving off bank charges as well as mobilizing local resources through Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIs).
The combined effort from both central and state governments has enabled successful implementation of GKRA projects in more than 116 districts across India.
